Description
A Bamileke old traditional tribal woven Cane domed circular cap with a lizard the top. Cameroon, West Africa. At the base of the cap is a band of cream coloured Cowrie Shells. The lizard cap is decorated , throughout, with dark blue tubular Glass beads and small red and white Glass beads. The lizard is 22 inches in length and 5 inches in height. The inner diameter of the cap is 7.4 inches, and the cap and lizard have a total height of 9 inches.
