Description
A Bamileke Cloth covered Wood headdress, decorated with multicoloured small Glass beads. The headdress depicts a frog, standing on top of a head. Cameroon, West Africa. The blue bead covered head, has a white beaded nose, black and white beaded eyes, red and brown cloth ears, and a red cloth mouth, above a black and white beads striped beard. The back of the head is decorated with a zigzag pattern of red and black beads. The frog on top of the head has a red cloth open mouth over a white beaded head, black and red beaded eyes, and a black beaded nose. The body of the frog is decorated with white beads and red beaded triangles, and black beaded legs. The base of the headdress is 9 inches in diameter and the headdress is 7.5 inches in height.
