Description
A New Guinea curved tribal headdress, decorated with black and white Cassowary Feathers, a band of red Seeds, a band of grey ‘Job’s Tears’ Seeds, and a band of cream coloured Cowrie Shells. At the centre of the headdress is a large white circular Shell disc, with a small brown Shell in the middle, and a border of yellow Cane woven strips, and small blue and brown Feathers.The circular Shell disc is 2.6 inches in diameter. The inner diameter of the headdress is 8 inches, and the headdress is 12 inches in height.
