Description
A New Guinea large tribal Fibre oval band headdress, decorated with lines of small cream coloured Cowrie Shells, and borders of small grey ‘Job’s Tears’ Seeds. Attached to the top of the headdress is a curved plume of white Feathers. The band of the headdress is 6 inches in width, 10.4 inches in length, and 4.4 inches in height. The overall height of the band and Feathers is 18 inches.
