Description
A Sumatra large curved Golden Metal, (Nickel free), ceremonial headdress, decorated with large and small Golden Metal flowers , two birds, and stylised leaves. Indonesia. Some of the flowers have metallic red bead centres, and some are set onto long wire ‘stalks’. On each side of the base of the headdress hang two pendants, each decorated with three Golden Metal stylised flowers with rectangular small flat pendants. The headdress is set onto a Silvered Metal wire frame, and curved panel base. The base is 6 inches in width, and 2.1 inches in depth. The headdress is 19.4 inches in maximum width, and 10 inches in maximum height.
