Description
An old Afghan Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), hinged pendant with a triangular panel at the top linked two a square panel at the base. The triangular panel is decorated with inlays of red, green, and mauve Glass, and has Silvered Metal dotted borders. The square panel is decorated with a dark blue Glass crescent, and inlays of twenty small facetted red Glass beads. The square panel is bordered with three bands of small Silvered Metal bell pendants.The pendant is suspended, by a Silvered Metal patterned loop, from a Silver Plated snake links chain necklace. The pendant is 1.4 inches in width, 0.1 inches in depth, and, including the loop, a drop length of 3.5 inches. The chain necklace is 20 inches in length, and is finished with a Silver Plated oyster clasp and ring.
