Description
Yoruba Tribe multicoloured Glass beads ‘King’s Crown’ fringed conical headdress. Nigeria, West Africa. The headdress is decorated with two large circular masks, two smaller oval beaded masks, abstract pattens, and different coloured bands. At the top of the headdress is a multicoloured Glass beads bird. At the base of the headdress is a long fringe of multicoloured Glass beads. The inner diameter, at the base of the headdress, is 8 inches, and the height of the headdress is 18 inches.The strands of the beaded fringe iare 16 inches in drop length.
