Description
A New Guinea large circular Silvered Metal band necklace decorated with thirty-four round black Wood beads and, at the base, ten large cream coloured Cowrie Shells. Around the base of each Shell is a small brown patterned band. The top of the necklace is covered with lines of black Rope. Each Cowrie Shell is, approximately, 2.1 inches in width, 3 inches in length, and 1.3 inches in height. The necklace has an inner diameter of 13.1 inches, and a drop length of 17 inches.
