Description
An old Turkmen Silver rectangular pendant with patterned borders, and a centre, decorated with small domed circular, oval, and teardrop patterned panels. Afghanistan. At the centre of the pendant is a domed circular patterned panel, inlaid with a raised Turquoise oval bead, set in a Silver oval case. The pendant is suspended, by eight Silver loops, each decorated with a flower, from a Silver snake links chain necklace. The pendant is 4.2 inches in width, 0.1 inches in depth, and, including the loops, 3.7 inches in drop length. The chain necklace is 22 inches in length, and is finished with a Silver oyster clasp and ring.
