Description

A necklace of graduated Cornelian ancient barrel beads, excavated from the desert of Mali, West Africa. Roman period. 1st-3rd century AD.

The largest central bead is 1.3 cm in diameter and 0.8 cm in width.

The smallest bead is 0.7 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm in width.

The necklace is 45 cm in length, and is finished with an orange braided cotton loop, and grey agate toggle.
