Description
A Balinese large Golden Metal, (Nickel free), ceremonial floral patterned headdress, decorated throughout with small Golden Metal flowers. Above the curved top of the headdress is a crest of stylised flowers and leaves, each decorated with small clear and opalescent small facetted Glass inlays. Beneath the crest there are three rows of domed circular ‘flowers’ on Golden Metal flexible stalks, the top and bottom row are each decorated with layers of clear and opalescent small facetted Glass circular inlays, and the middle row of ‘flowers’ are, each, decorated with clear, opalescent, and red small facetted Glass circular inlays. At the centre of the front of the headdress are two Golden Metal stylised and patterned birds. Suspended from each side of the headdress is a fringe of Golden Metal stylised flower panels. The curved band of the headdress is 6 inches in width, and 3 inches in depth . The headdress is 18 inches in width and 10 inches in height.
