Description
A Baule large Brass circular patterned pendant, suspended from a necklace of thirty-eight black Leather bands. Burkina Faso, West Africa. The circular pendant is patterned with a series of concentric circular bands, two braided bands, and a border of twenty-one circular coiled bands. On either side of the centre of the pendant, is a stylised snake. The pendant is 4.6 inches in diameter, and has a drop length of 4.7 inches. The Leather bands necklace is 19 inches in length, and is finished with a black Leather loop, and a black Coconut circular toggle.
