A Kochi traditional tribal Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), choker on a black cotton cloth band. Afghanistan. The band of the choker is decorated with three square Silvered Metal patterned plaques, each with a Silvered Metal circular central band, inlaid with four turquoise dyed Howlite circular panels. Between the square panels are two narrow rectangular panels, each inlaid with five circular blue stones., and, at each end of the choker, is a Silvered Metal triangular plaques, inlaid with a turquoise dyed Howlite panel. At the base of the choker is a fringe of Silvered Metal chains with bell pendants. The drop length of the choker and pendants is 3.5 inches. The choker is 11 inches in length, (adjustable), and is finished, at each end, with a black cotton cloth band, (for adjustable sizing).
