A Kuba traditional tribal brown hessian cloth circular band necklace, decorated with a line of eighteen groups of four cream coloured Cowrie Shells and an upper border of small turquoise and yellow tubular Glass beads. Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa. At the base of the necklace is a white horse hair fringe, eleven lines of blue and white small Glass tubular beads, and five pendants of Brass bells and Cowrie Shells suspended from brown braided Rope strands. The drop length of the cloth band and fringe is 7.4 inches. The inner diameter of the circular band necklace is 5 inches.
