Description
A long necklace of Baule circular, and semi-circular flat patterned beads. Burkina Faso, West Africa. The five circular beads are decorated with small grooved circular lines, and two of the beads have a motif of stylised fish, two of stylised elephants, and one of twelve fans. The four long circular beads with semi-circular ends, are decorated with grooved lines. Each of the beads has a hollow ridged tubular centre. The circular beads are, each, 2.2 inches in diameter, and, with the tube, 2.4 inches in length. The long beads are 2.7 inches in length. The necklace is 36 inches in length, and is finished with Black Agate round beads, a black cotton macrame loop, and a Black Agate round toggle.
