Description
A New Guinea domed oval braided Cane headdress. The dome of the headdress is decorated with fourteen bands of white ribbed Shells, with a large white curled Shell at the top. The base of the headdress is decorated with a fringe of light and dark brown Feathers. The inner diameter of the headdress is 7 inches, and the outer diameter, at the base, is 15 inches. The headdress is 8.5 inches in height.
