Description
A New Guinea large and long cream coloured braided Rope necklace with eighteen graduated strands of beads. The collar of the necklace is decorated with lines of cream coloured Cowrie Shells. The eighteen graduated strands are decorated with a pattern of dark brown Wood saucer and button beads, white painted Wood button beads, cream coloured Bone sliced circular beads , and brown Seeds. The inner width of the collar is 5.4 inches, the outer width is 13.4 inches. The graduated strands of the necklace have a drop length of 18 inches, and the total drop length from the top of the collar to the bottom of the longest strand is 25 inches. The necklace is attached, at the top, by a cream braided Rope loop, and a cream Cowrie Shell toggle.
