Description
A pair of Miao Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), antique earrings. China. The curved earrings are patterned as stylised flowers, with a large Silvered Metal circular bead at the centre of the flower, with a series of rope work bands depicting the petals. On each side of the central flower is a smaller Silvered Metal circular bead with a series of irregular shaped leaves with rope work borders. At the base of each earring is a band of eight small Silvered Metal round beads above a border of triangular wire bands. The earrings are 2 inches in maximum width, 0.5 inches in maximum depth, and have a drop length of 2.7 inches. The earrings are suspended from Silver wire hooks.
