Description
A Sumatra very large curved ceremonial headdress. Indonesia. The headdress is decorated with large and small Golden Metal flowers, some with red painted Metal centres, four Golden Metal birds, and two bands of red painted metal flowers. On each side of the base of the headdress is a pendant of four Golden Metal butterflies, and a pendant of three Golden Metal butterflies. The curved base of the headdress is 7.5 inches in width. The maximum width of the headdress is 27 inches, and the height of the headdress, from the top of the curved base, is 18 inches.
