A Tuareg large Brass rectangular patterned pendant, suspended from a dark brown braided Leather tapered band. Mali, West Africa. At the centre of the pendant is a large, four stepped, diamond shaped plaque, engraved with wavy rooted bands. Above the centre is a light brown Agate domed oval cabochon, set into a Brass case. Below the centre is a round brown Glass bead, set into a Brass case. The corners of the pendant are decorated with Copper and Aluminium patterned triangular plaques engraved with wavy dotted patterns. At the top of the pendant are two long Brass tubes. The pendant is 4.6 inches in width, 0.2 inches in depth, and 8 inches in drop length. The Leather band is 22 inches in length, and is finished with a braided Leather loop and round toggle.
