Description
A West African antique Brass circular ceremonial headdress. At the top of the headdress is a large flat Brass panel with a curved top, decorated with five small triangular panels, and, in the centre, a large Brass dome. Around the sides of the headdress, are eight Brass rectangular raised panels, each decorated with curved and geometric etched patterns, and a Brass domed lug at the corners of each rectangular panel. The circular top of the headdress is decorated with four Brass domes. The inner diameter of the headdress is 6.6 inches, the side of the headdress is 3.2 inches in height, and the overall height of the headdress is 12 inches.
