Description
A White Hmong traditional ceremonial headdress. Vietnam. The circular cap of the headdress is decorated with a band of black cotton cloth, decorated with a pattern light blue, pink, and mauve cotton stitching. At the back of the cap is a long rectangular band of similarly patterned cotton cloth. The top of the headdress is decorated with three bands of pink wool pompoms, and the whole of the headdress is covered with fringes of multicoloured round Resin beads. The inner diameter of the cap is 7.4 inches and the headdress is 7 inches in height. The rectangular band, at the back of the headdress, has a drop length of 13 inches.
