An Afghan antique tribal Silvered Metal fringed choker, on a black cotton cloth band, with three crescent moon shaped red and blue Glass insets, and small multicoloured Glass beads. At the top of the choker, is a border of small red and white Glass beads, and at each end of the choker is a Silvered Metal teardrop shaped panel, with red Glass triangular inlay, and insets of small multicoloured facetted Glass beads. Hanging from the base of the choker is a fringe of Silvered Metal chains with pendants of Silvered Metal coins, discs, and floral patterned ovals. The choker is 12.1 inches in length, (adjustable in size), and has a drop length, including the fringe, of 4.2 inches. At each end of the choker is a black wool braided band of 10 inches, (for adjustable sizing).
