Description

An Afghan traditional tribal black cloth band headdress, decorated with two bands of hexagonal Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), plaques and a fringe of flat diamond shaped pendants. At each end of the band is a long Silvered Metal pendant, suspended from a teardrop plaque, inlaid with a red Glass domed oval cabochon. Both pendants are decorated with a square Silvered Metal plaque, inlaid with a green Glass domed oval cabochon, and a Silvered Metal teardrop pendant , inlaid with red and green Glass cabochons. The plaques are attached to long Silvered Metal chains, and at the base of each pendant, is a chain fringe with Silvered Metal flat diamond shaped pendants. The drop length of the two long pendants, is 19.4 inches. The Cloth headband is 3 inches in width and 11 inches in length, (adjustable). Attached to each end of the headband is a black wool macrame cord, (for adjustable sizing).
