Description
An Afghan traditional tribal long necklace of red felt and black cotton cloth. The necklace is decorated with two triangular shaped, two small diamond shaped, and one large diamond shaped Silvered Metal patterned panels, each inlaid with brown Resin domed beads. Each triangular panel has two pendants with Silvered Metal round bells, and two Silvered Metal flat oval patterned pendants. The two small diamond shaped panels each have three bell pendants and four flat oval pendants, and the large diamond shaped panel has two bell pendants, and a fringe of eleven pendants of two linked ovals, and multicoloured Cotton threads. The necklace is suspended from a Silvered Metal interlocking wires chain. The two cloth bands of the necklace are, each, 2.6 inches in width, and the necklace has a drop length of 20 inches.
