Description
An Akan very long Golden Metal, (Nickel free), ‘Chain of Office’ with a stylised patterned pig pendant. Ghana, West Africa. The long chain is made up of triple band interlocking circular links. The pig pendant has an overall pattern of curved lines and semi-circles. The pendant is 6 inches in length, 2 inches in depth, and has a drop length of 4 inches. The links of the chain are each 0.6 inches in diameter, and 0.2 inches in width. The necklace and pendant are 42 inches in drop length, (84 inches in overall length).
