Description
Bamileke antique traditional tribal headdress of black and white beads, sewn onto a cloth base. Cameroon, West Africa. The headdress is decorated, on each side with a border of black and white thee line beaded stripes. The lower part of the headdress is covered in white Glass beads, and the upper part, with black beads, decorated, on each side, with two lizards. The inner diameter of the headdress is 8 inches, the maximum width is 13.5 inches, and the height is 13 inches.
