Description
Four Baule large Brass circular disc pendants, suspended from a Brass round and tubular beads necklace. Ivory Coast, West Africa. Each Brass disc is decorated circular lines and a circular band of holes. A tube runs along the centre of each disc. Two of the discs are decorated with butterfly motifs and two with chicken motifs. Each disc is 3.1 inches in diameter, and the four discs pendant has a drop length of 16.4 inches. The beaded necklace is 15 inches in length, and is finished with an oyster clasp and ring.
