Description
Kuba traditional tribal dark brown and beige Raffia belt with a large brown Raffia tuft ball at the centre. Zaire. The belt is woven in a zig zag pattern of beige and dark brown lines. The Raffia ball is 3.5 inches in diameter.
The belt is 2.75 inches in width, 23 inches in length, (expands), and is finished, at each end, with seven plaited raffia strands, each joined up to form a single plaited strand. One of these single strands is 8 inches in length, and the other is 6 inches in length, allowing a potential further potential 14 inches to the length of the belt.
