Description
An old Baule tribal Brass large hollow open cuff, with a domed semi-circular top and patterned sides. Cote d’Ivoire, West Africa. The sides of the cuff are decorated with a pattern of oval beads within wavy band borders, and, on each side of the cuff, are three grooved posts. The borders of the cuff are decorated with rope work patterned bands. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2.5 inches. The cuff is 4.6 inches in width, 2 inches in depth, and 4.6 inches in length.
