Description
A long necklace of twelve Baule ridged Brass hollow beads, with a large Baule hollow bead of twenty-one curved and coiled bands in the centre, and tapered and grooved circular bands at each end. Ivory Coast, West Africa. Between each ridged bead is a small Brass ridged oval spacer, and at each end of the necklace, a line of six small small oval Brass beads. The large hollow bead is 2 inches in maximum diameter and 2 inches in length. Each ridged bead is 1.1 inches in diameter and 0.7 inches in length. The necklace is 11.6 inches in drop length, and is finished with a Brass wire hook and ring.
