Description
An Indian long necklace with four groups of five strands of small facetted Ruby beads, attached, at each end, to small Brass panels, each inlaid with a domed oval facetted Ruby cabochon bordered with very small golden facetted Glass beads and small facetted Marcasites. Linking the the two groups of Ruby beads, on each side of the necklace, is a Brass domed rectangular panel , inlaid with a domed facetted Ruby rectangular bead, bordered with very small golden facetted Glass beads and small Marcasites. At the base of the necklace is a Brass Floral patterned oval pendant of ten Brass teardrop shaped panels, each inlaid with a domed facetted Ruby teardrop, bordered with very small golden facetted Glass beads and Marcasites. Beneath the floral patterned pendant is a pendant with ten strands of small facetted Ruby beads, each with a white Freshwater Pearl at the base, and enclosed in a domed circular Brass case, inlaid with three circular domed facetted Rubies, each bordered with a line of very small golden Glass beads and Marcasites.The floral patterned pendant is 3 inches in width, 0.1 inches in depth, and 3.2 inches in drop length. The two pendants have a total drop length of 7.4 inches. The necklace and pendants have a total drop length of 20 inches, and the necklace is attached, at the top, by a Brass oyster clasp and ring.
