Description
Sumatra Golden and Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), large curved traditional ceremonial dance heads. The headdress is decorated with large Golden Metal flowers, and smaller Silvered Metal flowers, attached by wire to the metal frame of the headdress. Some of the flowers are decorated with small clear facetted Glass circular cabochons., and small white ‘faux’ pearls. Two Golden Metal birds decorate the front of the headdress, and, on each side of the craved base hang a group of Golden Metal flat triangular pendants with fringes. The diameter of the band, at the base of the headdress is 6 inches, the overall maximum width of the headdress is 20 inches, and the height is 11 inches.
