Description
Tuareg traditional tribal square ‘Gris Gris’ pendant necklace. Mali, West Africa. The pendant is made of Brass, and is decorated, on each corner, with Silver and Copper triangular raised patterned plaques. At the centre of the pendant is a Silver raised diamond shaped plaque with a round Copper centre and a Copper border. The Brass pendant is etched with triangular patterns and decorated with small round Copper lugs. The pendant is suspended from a black cotton multi-strand long necklace. The pendant is 3.3 inches square, and the necklace has a drop length of 21.6 inches.
