Description
A Baule tribal antique Brass patterned open bangle/armlet. Ivory Coast, West Africa. The bangle has three curved edged bands, with an etched pattern between each band. The borders of the bangle have the same etched pattern. At the centre of each band are two semi-circles with worn grooved lines, and at the ends of each band is the same semi-circular pattern. The inner diameter of the bangle/armlet is 3 inches, and the height is 2.2 inches.
