A Dayak tribal conical headdress, decorated with two panels of patterned multicoloured Glass beadwork, and a crown of eighteen white horse hair tufts set on top of black and red dyed horse hair bases. Borneo, Indonesia. The front panel is patterned with a mask of small yellow and black Glass beads. At each side of the headdress is a long fringe of white, and red dyed, horse hair strands, suspended from a panel of striped white horse hair strands, and red and black dyed horse hair strands. The inner diameter of the circular base of the headdress, is 7.4 inches, and the headdress is 11 inches in height.
