Description
A Lega traditional tribal, domed and crested ceremonial circular headdress of woven brown Fibre, decorated with patterns of small black and white Glass beads and brown buttons. Democratic Republic of Congo. Hanging from the circular base of the headdress, is a long brown Fibre plaited band, decorated with brown buttons. The inner diameter of the headdress is 6.2 inches, and the headdress is 10.2 inches in height. The curved crest of the headdress is 7 inches in length, and 4.6 inches in height.
