Description

A long necklace of graduated Cornelian and Agate ancient barrel and ridged beads, excavated from the desert of Mali, West Africa. Roman period, 1st-2nd century AD.

The largest central bead is 2.1 cm in diameter and 0.7 cm in depth.

The smallest bead is 1.1 cm in diameter and 0.4 cm in depth.

The necklace is 85 cm in length, and is finished with black braided cotton and a gold plated trigger clasp
