A Nepalese Long Necklace Of White Freshwater Pearls, White Seed Pearls, Gold Plated Panels With Rubies, And Semi-Precious Stones

A Nepalese long necklace of twenty-two large white Freshwater Pearls, two groups of twenty-five strands of small white Seed Pearls, and. at the base of the necklace, a long tassel of thirty-five strands of small white Seed Pearls.

Above the tassel is a Gold Plated, filigree patterned oval panel with a pointed oval panel in the centre, bordered with eight circular panels, each inlaid with a Ruby facetted cabochon and borders of small dark facetted Marcasites and small golden facetted Glass beads.

Below each side of the large white Freshwater Pearls strand, at the top of the necklace, is a Gold Plated square panel, inlaid with Rubies, Emeralds, and Black Agate facetted cabochons, and, at the top and base of each multi-strand of small white Seed Pearls is a domed oval cover, decorated with small facetted Marcasites, and small golden facetted Glass beads.

The large oval panel is 5 cm in width, 0.4 cm in depth, and 7 cm in drop length, the tassel is 11 cm in drop length, and the necklace and tassel have a total drop length of 51 cm.

The necklace is attached, at the top by a Gold Plated oyster clasp and ring.
