Description
An Afghan large patterned Silver Plated open cuff with patterned tapered bands. The cuff is decorated with a series of different sized domed and circular Silver Plated knobs, and, on each side of the cuff, a heart shaped, and a shell shaped Silver Plated plaque. Set in a Silver Plated patterned frame, at the centre of the cuff, is a large facetted circular Cornelian cabochon, engraved with a man and a woman, and, on each side, a smaller facetted oval cabochon, one engraved with a man, and the other with a woman, and both set in engraved Silver Plated frames. The central circular cabochon is 1.4 inches in diameter, and 0.2 inches in depth. The two oval cabochons are 0.7 inches ion width, and 1.1 inches in length. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2.2 inches, and the cuff is 2.4 inches in width, tapering down to 1 inch in width at each end.
