An Afghan Silver Plated Crown Decorated With Brass Curled Wire Bands, Multicoloured Floral Patterned Enamelling, And Turquoise Cabochon Inlays.

Description

An Afghan Silver Plated crown, decorated with Brass curled wire bands and small domed circular Brass beads, multicoloured floral patterned enamelling, three large Turquoise teardrop shaped cabochons, one large Turquoise oval shaped cabochon, and bands of small green Turquoise domed circular cabochons, all set in Silver Plated frames. At the top of the crown are three Silver Plated , three petalled flower panels, each decorated with domed circular Brass beads, and curled Brass wire bands. The hinged, Silver Plated band of the crown is decorated with Brass curled wire bands, and, at the back of the band of the crown, are two groups of three Silver Plated patterned tubes, and a long Silver Plated pin, so the inner diameter of the band of the crown is adjustable from 17 cm to 18 cm.
