Description
A Kirdi tribe antique circular fibre and Leather domed cap. Cameroon, West Africa. The circular domed top of the cap is decorated with bands of cream Cowrie Shells, and a border of dark blue Glass small tubular beads and a line of small round white Glass beads. At the front of the cap, is a fringe of red, yellow, white and blue small Glass round beads. The strap of the cap is made of rope, decorated with bands of Metal. The cap is 9.3 inches in diameter, and the fringe at the front of the cap is 5.5 inches in drop length. The strap has a drop length of 14 inches.
