A Kuchi traditional tribal Silvered Metal, (Nickel free), patterned pendant, suspended from a Silver Plated chain necklace. Afghanistan. The pendant is decorated with a series of Silvered Metal circular and semi-circular frames, each inlaid with a red or a blue Glass panel. At the base of the pendant is a fringe of ten Silvered Metal long chains, decorated at the top with red and blue facetted Glass circular cabochons, each set in a Silvered Metal frame. Each chain is decorated with Silvered Metal teardrop shaped discs, and, at the base of each chain, a small Silvered Metal triangular patterned pendant. The pendant and fringe are 4.2 inches in width, 0.1 inches in depth, and a total drop length of 7.4 inches. The chain necklace is 20 inches in length, and is finished with a Silver Plated oyster clasp and ring.
