Description
A Chinese early twentieth century wedding headdress, decorated with orange Wool pompoms, white ‘faux pearls’, multicoloured textiles, and leaf patterned panels decorated with blue Feathers and gold paint. At the centre of the front of the headdress is a silver painted ‘sun’ disc, bordered with white ‘faux pearls’ and blue feather decorated panels On each side of the headdress are two long tassels of orange Silk thread, and white ‘faux pearls. The inner diameter of the headdress is 7.2 inches, and the height of the headdress is 9.6 inches. The two tassels are 21 inches in drop length.
