A Yoruba Black And White Beaded ‘King’s Crown’ Decorated With Ten Birds And Two Masks




A traditional  black and white beaded Yoruba  ‘King’s Crown’ headdress decorated with ten beaded birds and two beaded masks. Nigeria, West Africa. At the top of the headdress is a black and white beaded bird . At the base of the headdress is a fringe of black and white long beaded strands. The inner diameter at the base of the headdress is 8 inches and the headdress is 16.2 inches in height.
